Kaizen talks a lot about finding the root cause through tools like the Root Cause Analysis, the 5 Whys, the Fishbone Diagram, and more. So why is it important? Kaizen works to improve processes in the facility primarily through small incremental changes and improvements. Any issues or problems in the workplace can only be truly resolved if the source of the issue is addressed. Often times, identifying the root cause and finding a solution will have a domino impact on other problems that resulted from the problem.
